1. Contract & Role of Palm View Tours and Travel

   When you book travel services through Palm View Tours and Travel, you and those on whose behalf you are booking enter into a contract with the travel suppliers providing the services included in your booking (including, without limitation, airlines, hotels, ground transportation companies, cruise lines, tour operators and other providers). Palm View Tours and Travel acts solely as an agent for the suppliers, who are independent parties over which we exercise no direct control.

2. Limitation of Liability

   Palm View Tours and Travel shall not be liable for any claims, losses, damages, costs, expenses, delays, or loss of enjoyment of any nature or kind whatsoever, to you or your travelling companions, resulting from the acts, omissions or negligence of anyone other than Palm View Tours and Travel or our employees acting properly on our behalf. Suppliers’ liability may be limited by law, tariffs, international conventions, or conditions on tickets and supplier documentation. You should read and understand the limitations of liability set forth in airline tickets, hotel confirmations, cruise documentation, and supplier terms once delivered to you.

3. Pricing & Currency

   Prices are subject to availability and change until confirmed and paid as required. Currency (USD, CAD or other) will be clearly stated in the quote/invoice. Taxes, fees, gratuities, resort fees, baggage fees, seat selection, and optional services may be additional unless expressly included in writing.

4. Bookings, Payments & Confirmation

   A reservation is not considered confirmed until a deposit or full payment (as required by the supplier) has been received and the booking has been confirmed in writing. Unless otherwise stated on your invoice, a minimum deposit may be required at the time of booking. Booking deadlines and payment schedules may vary based on supplier rules. For last-minute bookings, additional restrictions may apply.

5. Changes to Your Booking

   If you request changes to a booking, an administrative fee may apply (unless otherwise stated on your invoice). In addition, supplier change penalties may apply. Changes within a certain number of days prior to departure may be restricted or not permitted depending on supplier rules and fare conditions.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

   Unless otherwise stated ALL SERVICES ARE NON REFUNDABLE. You must notify Palm View Tours and Travel of your intention to cancel. Cancellation is effective only upon written acknowledgment by Palm View Tours and Travel. Cancellation penalties and refund eligibility are subject to supplier rules. In the event of cancellation by one or more passengers sharing the same accommodation, the rate charged to remaining passenger(s) may increase.

   Unless otherwise stated on your invoice, cancellation penalties may include:

   Up to a specified number of days prior to departure: loss of deposit

   Within a specified number of days prior to departure: up to 100% of total cost

   Penalties are applied on the price plus all applicable taxes/fees, and may vary by supplier.

7. Unused Travel Services

   No refund is made for unused travel services or any portion thereof (including no-shows, late arrivals, early departures), unless otherwise stated in writing and subject to supplier approval.

8. Insurance

   We strongly recommend purchasing appropriate travel insurance (medical, trip cancellation/ interruption, baggage, etc.). Insurance premiums are generally non-refundable.

9. Changes on Services / Supplier Substitution

   We reserve the right to cancel or modify travel services by substituting services, varying itineraries, changing aircraft/ship, or otherwise. In all cases, we and/or suppliers will strive to provide a comparable or superior product. If a travel service is canceled, our liability will be limited to the purchase price of the travel service actually paid and refundable under supplier rules. Suppliers may substitute other suppliers with or without notice. We do not assume responsibility for claims resulting from such substitution.

10. Price Increases

    Price increases may occur prior to full payment due to supplier surcharges, currency fluctuation, fuel, taxes, or government fees. No price increases are permitted after the customer has paid in full, unless required by law or imposed directly by a government authority (where applicable), and subject to the supplier’s written terms.

11. Documentation, Entry Requirements & Responsibility

    Travel requirements vary by destination and traveler circumstances. Passports may be required to be valid for at least six (6) months beyond the return date. Visas, tourist cards, and other entry or transit documents may be required. It is the traveler’s personal responsibility to obtain and carry proper documentation for the entire journey (including stops/layovers). Palm View Tours and Travel is not responsible if a traveler is denied boarding or entry, even if documents appear in order. Any costs associated with early return, detention, or denied entry are the traveler’s responsibility.

12. Children Travelling

    Children traveling alone or with one parent may require notarized documentation and may be subject to carrier/supplier rules. Fare rules for minors vary by supplier.

13. Baggage Allowance

    Baggage allowances and fees are set by carriers. Check with your airline and/or supplier. We do not accept responsibility for loss, damage, or delay of baggage.

14. Health & Medical Issues

    Some destinations may present health risks. Consult your doctor and/or public health authorities. It is your responsibility to obtain adequate insurance and required vaccinations/medical documentation.

15. Seat Assignments

    Seat assignments are controlled by airlines and may require fees. Some seats may only be assigned at check-in.

16. Special Requirements / Accessibility

    We must be advised of special requirements at the time of booking. We will make reasonable efforts to request accommodations, but cannot guarantee until confirmed by suppliers.

17. Destination Services & Standards

    Destination descriptions are provided for information only and are not part of the travel services purchased unless explicitly stated. Standards and conditions may differ from those in the United States/Canada. If issues arise at destination, contact the supplier and/or our office as soon as possible and provide written notice when feasible.

18. Delays

    Delays may occur due to weather, acts of God, strikes, governmental actions, or technical reasons. Carriers and suppliers may have limited liability for delays. Palm View Tours and Travel is not responsible for missed holiday time due to delays.

19. Hotel Check-In/Check-Out (Late Room Use)

    Hotel rooms are typically available from approximately 3:00 PM on arrival day and until approximately 12:00 PM on departure day, unless otherwise stated by the hotel.

20. Air Only

    In the sale of “air only” fares, schedules, aircraft, and fares may change without notice. Flights operate subject to carrier terms & conditions.

21. Force Majeure

    We shall not be liable for claims, losses, damages, costs, expenses, delays or loss of enjoyment resulting from events beyond our or a supplier’s reasonable control, including acts of God, strikes, labor disputes, wars, blockades, riots, earthquakes, weather, floods, or restraints imposed by government authorities.
